A USTA Pro Circuit Event

March 17 – 25, 2018

Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center is proud to present the 2018 USTA Men’s Pro Tennis Championships of Calabasas, a men’s $25,000.00 USTA Futures tournament. As was the case last year, the tournament does not conflict with the BNP Paribas at Indian Wells. It is the week directly following. We hope our local and San Fernando Valley tennis fans will be ready for some local professional tennis after going to the desert for the BNP Paribas event.

This is the 18th year Top Seed Tennis Academy and the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center has hosted USTA Pro tennis events. Calabasas is proud of the players who have competed at our Championships. Adding to the accomplishments of our distinguished alumni is Kevin Anderson, the 2017 U.S. Open Runner Up and Sam Querrey, 2017 Wimbledon semi-finalist. At the 2017 French Open, all four Men’s Doubles finalists played the Calabasas Pro tournament. At the 2016 Rio Olympics, 3 out of the 5 players on the USA Men's Olympic Tennis Team played in the Men's Pro Tennis Championships of Calabasas, Brian Baker, Steve Johnson, and Rajeev Ram, with Steve Johnson winning the bronze medal in Men’s Doubles and Rajeev Ram capturing the silver medal in Mixed Doubles. An outstanding achievement for Calabasas Pro Tennis alumni. In addition, twenty 2016 Olympic tennis players from around the world have played Calabasas Pro Tennis tournaments! Add previous Olympic Gold medalists, Mike & Bob Bryan and Chile's Nicolas Massu to the growing list of Olympic medalists, and you have one of the most decorated group of USTA Pro Circuit players ever assembled! Current up and coming U.S. players, Francis Tiafo, Taylor Fritz, Makenzie Mcdonald, and Stefan Kozlov and have played Calabasas. Other past players include Grand Slam Champion Michael Chang, 2 time Grand Slam finalist Mark Philippoussis, current U.S. Davis Cup players, John Isner, Donald Young, and Sam Querrey and other top ATP players including Ivo Karlovic. We are looking forward to continuing that tradition in 2018
